Mobile Devices App Development
Course Overview
On successful completion of this professional superior course, a technician in Development for Mobile Devices will be able to analyze, design and implement applications focused on the characteristics and needs of users of various types of mobile devices (tablets, smartphones and others), as well as the various platforms currently outstanding in the market (Android, iOS, Windows Phone).
Careers
Design application interfaces for mobile devices; Identify specific needs that can be satisfied through new applications targeted at mobile devices; Adapt different multimedia technologies (audio, video and graphic animation) to each device's characteristics; Integrate in the application design into the development frameworks provided by each of the main mobile platforms that currently command the market (Android, iOS and Windows); Use open web technologies (HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript) to develop multiplatform applications; Interact with the different online stores for the launch/publication of apps on diverse platforms; Develop the studies and advances necessary to implement independent business initiatives in the areas of application development for mobile devices; Identify the areas and the type of applications that can allow the maximization of efficiency levels of companies and other organizations through the use of mobile devices.
Entry Requirements
- Entities provided with high-school education course or with a legally equivalent qualification;
- Entities who have passed the specifically appropriate tests, which are designed to assess the ability to attend higher education for those over 23 years old, taken for the course in question, under the terms of Decreto-Lei n.º 64/2006, de 21st of march.
- Entities provided with a technological specialization diploma, a diploma of professional higher education technician or a higher education degree, who wish to have their professional requalification.
